Good facts but poor conclusions.

The huge decline in Japan's property market and stock prices are perfectly justified based on the fact that they were both grossly overvalued. They were much needed bubble bursts. Furthermore, in the case of real estate, low prices are a good thing in the same way that low prices for cars, food, fuel, computers etc are a good thing.
