In a regulatory filing on Monday, Berkshire said it owned about 14.7 million Activision shares, or 1.9%, worth $1.24 billion on June 30, down from 49.4 million shares, or 6.3%, on March 31.
BYD estimated that first half profit totaled between 10.5 billion yuan, or $1.4 billion, and 11.7 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year gain of between 192% to 225%.
The continued outperformance of mega-cap highfliers does not stand up to historical scrutiny, while value stocks are trading at a 30% discount to their long-term average PE.
